Introducing The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World — A Book Born from Children’s Curiosity

I’m excited to introduce my new book, The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

It’s a short, engaging introduction for young readers to the legendary wonders of the ancient world — from the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Hanging Gardens of Babylon to the Statue of Zeus, the Temple of Artemis, the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, the Colossus of Rhodes, and the Lighthouse of Alexandria. The book brings these places to life in a way children can understand and enjoy: simple language, fascinating facts, and a sense of adventure that invites them to imagine, ask questions, and keep exploring.

I wrote this book because of the children I work with in the humanitarian sector. In camps, communities, classrooms, and field sites, I’ve met children who carry so much yet still light up with curiosity. They ask big questions. They dream. They find joy in stories. They inspired me to create something they could hold in their hands — a book that tells them the world is full of wonder, and that wonder belongs to them too.

As part of this journey, I’ll be handing out copies of the book as gifts to children I meet during my field trips around the world. This book is more than a launch for me; it’s a way to share hope, knowledge, and imagination, one child at a time.

If you’d like to enjoy the book with your own family, classroom, or community, you can buy a copy here:

Thank you for reading, sharing, and helping keep curiosity alive.
